Diana, with 4 years of experience in teaching various styles of Street Jazz and K-pop dance, as well as a solid foundation in dance. She has led students of all age groups, including beginners and experienced learners, with creativity and patience, being gentle yet firm.

She has a delicate understanding of music and often encourages students to enjoy the music, express their personalities through rhythm, and considers groove training an essential part of her classes. She is patient and meticulously addresses any difficulties encountered in dancing, carefully demonstrating and explaining the essentials of each movement.
Freddie Chen(陈文杰) grew up in Beijing, China, and first arrived in Melbourne, Australia, in 2013. He started learning dance at the age of 17. He gained his initial contemporary dance experience at the Jane Moore Ballet Academy before furthering his studies at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Freddie had the privilege of collaborating with several renowned choreographers during his time at VCA, including Darren Vizer, Rochelle Carmichael, Benjamin Hancock, Kate Denborough and Alisdair Mclndoe.
Since 2018, Freddie has been a part of the JMC Dance Lab family, spending over three years teaching in the studio. His background in studying at the VCA and collaborating with choreographers has provided him with a rich teaching experience.
Freddie emphasizes creating a relaxed and comfortable learning environment for students, encouraging them to explore and discover dance elements that interest them rather than simply imitating. His motto is “fake it until you make it, make it then enjoy it, enjoy it then explore it, explore it then have fun with it.” reflecting a dance learning process that evolves from imitation to personal enjoyment and creative exploration. His personal dance style is characterized by filling space with gentle and extended movements, showcasing delicate yet dynamic dance techniques.
Patrick(周周) is an experienced choreographer specializing in street jazz and hip-hop dance styles. With four years of teaching experience, primarily focusing on street jazz and K-pop classes, Patrick is known for his versatility and dynamic teaching style.
He embodies a multifaceted persona, capable of delivering both graceful and elegant jazz routines as well as playful and adorable K-pop choreography. Whether gentle and nurturing or fierce and determined, his teaching approach adapts to the needs of his students, showcasing various facets of his personality. Patrick’s passion lies in crafting innovative and creative dance choreography, reflecting his love for artistic expression and exploration.
Weini, an experienced dance instructor with a background spanning 23 years in dance and 7 years in yoga, possesses 10 years of teaching experience catering to students aged 18 months to 65 years old.
She completed the Advanced Grade in Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet and gained extensive experience as a dancer working with renowned international choreographers like JS Wong, Aymar Harper, Dr. Sandra Parker, Judith Sanchez Ruiz, and the Siu Lung Fung Company. Graduating from the University of Melbourne’s Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) Dance Department in 2018, she supplemented her education with coursework in kinesiology, dance psychology, yoga, Gyrokinesis, and somatic practices. Furthermore, she obtained Certificate 4 of Yoga Teaching in 2021 and completed a 20-hour Yin Yoga Teacher Training in the same year. Additionally, in 2023, she pursued further studies and received international certification in Animal Flow.
She has a deep interest in movement itself, connections, flow, interruptions, interactions, and the possibilities between movements. She is currently exploring more possibilities and mechanisms of the body and movement.
